“I’m over the moon to get this recognition, it’s such an honour. There was a moment in time where I wondered if I’d be able to keep my business going but to now look back and see what we’ve achieved as a team is emotional. Being crowned the national winner would be amazing and a real credit to the team. I knew I needed to provide my skills and expertise to help the hardworking and dedicated healthcare staff and I’m thankful that together we’ve been able to help get people through.”
Becci is one of five regional winners of the O2 Everyday Heroes campaign, for leading Team Boo in supporting NHS workers during the pandemic. A few weeks ago, O2 swung by HQ and produced this short video that’s had us all tearing up a little bit, if we’re honest. If you have a spare one minute and 59 seconds, we would love you to watch it:
(if the video doesn’t play, click here)
Here’s what O2 said about why Becci was chosen as regional winner:
“From developing a complete wellbeing programme from scratch for healthcare professionals in her area, to getting back on the ICU ward as a nurse, Becci was nominated for her sheer tenacity and dedication to supporting the healthcare community in and around Bolton during the past year”
The National Winner will get a cool £5K, and you can help make this happen for Boo! (Voting closes on 21st September 2021)

“I’m just grateful to have played even a small part in helping the healthcare professionals of Southport and Ormskirk get through some of the hardest days of their careers. Having a nursing background myself, I know the extreme pressures you can face and after turning my hand to coaching, I’m honoured to get the chance to give back to the nursing and healthcare community”.
