Today we make it to another Boo milestone...Every year I always plan to write something really profound, I have a fancy idea that I can write something super inspiring and uplifting that will capture everyone’s hearts! And every year I am lost for words! So instead I will share a few highlights and some of my favourite things about Boo…

Celebrating 11 years, 11 months and 17 days…

We celebrated a little early this year so all the team could be together (before holiday season began) at one of our favourite places in Bolton – the Octagon Theatre. We invited friends and family to join us in a spot of Boo bingo, hear the joyful speeches and (possibly reluctantly) sing a funny song created by our brilliant friend and keynote speak Maura Jackson which offered a glimpse of 12 years of Boo! (sung to the tune of the 12 days of Christmas!). There may or may not be footage of this!

My team – the dedication to doing the right thing, giving it their all and really caring about each other is something to behold!
Those lovely monthly updates – since launching 2 years ago have inspired other organisations to do the same and we LOVE it!
The fact we are based in Bolton and you all know how much I love my home town!

What’s next?

A tough few years have had an impact on us – it has been tricky and not all rainbows and unicorns! With this in mind our focus is very much on getting ourselves into a healthy business position whilst delivering what we are great at. This will include…

Launching a Booprint for happiness in the workplace (see what we did there?)
Increasing our customer reach across new sectors – tell your friends about us!
Launching our new coaching qualifications in Team Coaching and Coaching Supervision through CMI
Launching our healthy workplace toolkit for health and care organisations
Boosting our income through online programmes
Build on the work with the Bolton Family Social Value Partnership and lobby for Bolton to become a Real Living Wage town

According to Wikipedia the number twelve carries religious, mythological and magical symbolism generally representing perfection, entirety, or cosmic order in traditions since antiquity…yep I will take that – what’s more magical than #TeamBoo?
