Introducing Julia at Team Boo!

Julia initially joined us on a temporary basis to help us with the administration of our gold standard CMI centre. She made a few tweaks, streamlined some processes and now it’s a platinum standard CMI centre, so we’ve kept her. Here’s a bit more about Julia, in her own words.

I’ve been running my own business AdminAnywhere for 11 years. Providing business admin support to local businesses – mostly as a virtual PA working from my home office. I’m Mum to son Conan who is 24.

Workwise I love to get my hands on the opportunity to set up new spreadsheets and Mailchimp newsletters.

I see the big picture for streamlining and setting up admin systems and love being part of the businesses I support.

Working with Boo these last few months has been a breath of fresh air, giving me the chance to get out of my own home office a couple of days a week and gave me the new year re-energising that I needed. I love the ethos and atmosphere at Boo and am looking forward to officially taking up my part time role within Team Boo.

4 years ago I was released from a very limiting life being very much controlled by my late husband of over 30 years. I didn’t really realise the full extent to the control until after he died, when I began to re-discover who I was. I now live a very happy life, living it!

I have a love for music, particularly prog rock from the 80s, so getting back out there to gigs was a big part of re-finding me. I love a small venue watching niche bands.

Skye is my new partner, of 3 years, he lives just over the Lancashire border in West Yorkshire. He is wonderful. We do daft stuff. We mooch around charity shops. Go to lots of gigs. Laugh a lot! He introduced me to Steampunk. We dress up and go to events around Lancashire & Yorkshire. We spent lockdown in a virtual world via Xbox, roaming the Wild West playing Red Dead Redemption. Something my son found hilarious at first, thinking his mum had completely lost it.

So, I’m looking forward to enjoying the rest of my autumn years living it under my terms, perfectly balanced workwise with this role with Team Boo and my AdminAnywhere clients.

Julia officially starts as a fully fledged member of Team Boo on 1st June. She’ll be splitting her time across two days a week, to be flexed around the CMI calendar.
