We won an award!

We Won a Living Wage Champion Award!

We’ve been an accredited Living Wage employer since 2016, but we have always wanted to go further in supporting the movement because it absolutely fits with our values as an organisation.

2020 was all about appreciating key workers, and the vital importance each role at each level plays in society. We have campaigned for them to be paid fairly at every level too, inspired by our many poignant experiences supporting NHS worker during the pandemic.

The national recognition of their service was great, but let’s not have a situation in which people are worrying about how they are going to pay for parking when they are showing up each day, exhausted but ready to save lives.

We are thrilled to have won a Living Wage Champion Award for our efforts in supporting the campaign for fairer pay in the last year, and we will continue to be one of the loudest voices of the Living Wage Movement in Bolton.
