A magical week for Team Boo – Amy returns from maternity leave

Can you believe that it’s been 9 months since we waved our Happiness Ambassador, Amy, off on maternity leave?

A lot has happened since our festive wreath making and Nosecco sipping team day last December…lots of our blogs and our latest impact report will fill you in on all the details. THE biggest thing that’s happened since that glorious day at Brockholes is that our lovely Amy had a baby and has spent the last 9 months or so embracing her time adjusting to her new baby (Luca), enjoying as much of her time as possible and nurturing her babies.

We are really looking forward to welcoming Amy back into all things Team Boo. We understand that returning to work after a significant chunk of time away will always take some readjustments and the whole team are ready to support and guide our lovely friend and colleague back into work. Welcome back Amy – we have missed you!

Here’s an update from Amy…

Here I am, emerging once again from a cocoon of baby snuggles into a world that is about as scary as I’ve known it.
One thing we like to do when we start to feel overwhelmed is think of three good things. Here are three magnificent things I’m focusing on right now.

After a rocky start (giving birth is not one of my talents and I was poorly for a a while afterwards) I’ve had a wonderful maternity leave, filled with love, sunshine and adventures.
My children are both happy, healthy and adjusting to either life this side of my below button or life with a sibling.
I’m returning to the best possible job I could have, with a company that supports me to be a working parent in every way possible. I owe so many of my happy memories with my children to Boo. That’s a powerful gift, and I strive to be both grateful for it and worthy of it.
