Boost Your Wellbeing This Winter with Cath from Team Boo!

At Team Boo, we’re flipping the script and saying it’s absolutely ok to be Properly Selfish!
Many of us weren’t brought up to be selfish, were we? We were taught to be kind, to share, to be considerate of others. But here’s the thing – we can still be all of those things and even more when we prioritise our own self-care.
It’s time to challenge the idea that selfishness is inherently bad. Being Properly Selfish is an act of self-love and self-preservation. It’s about nurturing a life where we thrive emotionally, physically, and mentally, so we can show up as the best versions of ourselves for others.
You already know the importance of looking after yourself, but maybe what you do need is space to explore what wellbeing truly means to you and how to make small, positive changes. Our Mini Wellbeing Series provides just that – a space for reflection and learning, helping you discover what matters most to you and how you can flourish in the midst of life’s busyness.
We’re all fabulously unique, and our approaches to self-care should reflect that. What nourishes one person’s wellbeing may not work for another – and that’s okay. For example, I’ll let you in on a little secret: I don’t like yoga! I know it’s fantastic for many people’s wellbeing, but it’s just not my thing. The point is, we all need to find what works for us.

In our Mini Wellbeing Series, we’ll dive into the facts and the science, unpack what gets in the way, and discover practical steps to make wellbeing a priority in ways that feel simple and achievable.
Here’s what each of the five sessions will cover:
Being Properly Selfish
We’ll explore the wellbeing grid to understand how we show up as the best versions of ourselves. We’ll look at what holds us back and focus on self-care practices that allow us to embrace being “properly selfish” in a way that works for us.
Being Active
Our bodies are designed to move, and we know that physical activity is key to our health and wellbeing. In this session, we’ll explore what being active means to you, the barriers that stop us, and how to create positive change.
Sleep Better
We all know sleep is essential – it’s our natural restorative practice that supports our physical and emotional health. But does good sleep sometimes feel as elusive as a magical unicorn? This session shares the science of sleep and practical tips to help you establish better sleep habits.
Inner Critic and Self-Compassion
Our inner critic can be relentless, undermining our confidence and limiting our potential. This session offers techniques to quieten that negative voice and nurture self-compassion so you can become your own biggest cheerleader.
Flourishing in a Busy World
In the final session, we’ll explore what fills your joy bucket and what drains it, tying together everything we’ve learned to help you make meaningful changes that support your flourishing.
Remember, we can’t pour from an empty cup. It’s time to make wellbeing personal and explore what fills your joy bucket.
