The Social Business Collective – The start of a story
Team Boo has always been driven by its values and over the last 12 months we have been really energised to meet with other businesses who share our passion for Bolton and our commitment to maximise social value in our home town and beyond.
As we reach out and expand our local connections we increasingly see the potential to build a network of small businesses who can achieve more collectively than they can alone. The Social Business Collective has grown from sparks of conversations with local community and business leaders who share our vision to make a difference.
The Collective will create a space for sharing ideas and learning, strengthening local connections and a foundation for building social value. It will also be part of the Bolton Family which brings together some of the major employers in Bolton to work together with the council and voluntary sector in support of the Bolton 2030 Vision.
We launched the Collective on 25thApril, supported by the Bolton Family and a core group of small business who share our passion for getting a movement started. We are so excited to see where this journey will take us and very happy for it to be shaped by all those who want to become part of the story. Our first gathering is on Wednesday 6thJune at 5.30 at All Souls Bolton. If you are a small business with a social heart, based in Bolton we’d love you to join us.
